Congratulations Greenstream, Foundations in Play Therapy graduates 2011!

It was a rich experience as those from around the world shared their insights regarding play therapy and the current state of play therapy as a profession. This year there were representatives from Croatia, Ireland, India, Turkey, Uruguay, United States, and Canada The layering of theory and practice was a major emphasis during the training and all participants had the opportunity to work with 7 modalities (sand, puppets, art, music, movement, clay, therapeutic and story-telling). Additionally, unique to Rocky Mountain Play Therapy Institute was the ability of participants to work in fully equipped play therapy rooms. The group studied at least 8 approaches/models of play therapy and practiced many discrete tracking and reflecting skills. Overall, it was an amazing time together and we look forward to seeing you all again in the coming year!
